I have a friend who loves Sonic. I don't know whether Sonic has service in Sierra Madre or how much it costs. https://www.sonic.com/
Moving to LA - in what areas can you get gigabit internet? Hey everybody,
I'm going to be moving to LA from Austin soon. Here, I have Google fiber and I love it (I'm lucky, I know!)
I read that AT&T has gigabit internet available in LA but their coverage map is very vague.
On top of that, their availability checker seems to only either tell you it's not available or to call AT&T for details.
So, I'm wondering.. does anybody here have gigabit? Is it a good service?
Or does anybody have anything that isn't below 100Mbps and can recommend their ISP? If so, what area?
After being spoiled with Google Fiber I'd tear my hair out not having a good connection, considering I'm a geek and spend A LOT of time on the net and down/uploading stuff. So much so that this will heavily factor in my decision of what area to live in.. :)
Thanks in advance Reddit!

I've heard that sonic offers gigabit internet in Brentwood, if you're interested in that area. https://www.sonic.com
not a rental posting, but does anyone have a good recommendation for an internet provider? I just need internet, and comcast charges up the ass after 6 months

I second sonic if they provide in your area. I think speed depends on how close you are to one of their central offices. I really like sonic because of their excellent customer service and their business practices. You don't ever have to call them after x number of months to renegotiate a new contract, and they destroy user data after 2 weeks. You can check your coverage here: https://www.sonic.com/availability
