  Brad, my ortho Dr Shawn Bonsell is excellent. Helped me out when I had a 3 rd degree separation in my AC joint a couple of years ago from a mountain bike accident. He is the best. He is a triathlete and understands sports injuries well - http://www.smcnt.com/

  FB wants to know what's on my mind. Well, I'll tell you. I'm taking opinions, suggestions on knee doctors. Do any of you have an orthopedic doctor that you would recommend? Not really looking for a surgeon, just a compassionate doctor willing to LISTEN and try to help figure out what is causing Nicole's knee pain. To me it is totally unacceptable to say that they don't know why she has the pain. Yes, they believe her, but don't know why. Someone has to know the reason why. It is my quest to find this doctor.   My son in home on leave from the Navy and is looking for a civilian doctor that can evaluate knee injuries received during BUDS training. I know quite a few cyclists and triathletes here have had knee surgeries, evals, or just work with a good sports medicine, orthopedic specialist. I hesitate to just pick one off my plan, as I understand some offices approach this with one-sized-fits-all approach that everyone needs knee surgery. Any recommendations are appreciated.
