Once again I find myself in need of some help on here. Yesterday my ex wife recieved some devastating news. Last year she spent 2 months in the hospital. Most of it in intensive care. She went through 11 major surgeries and still needs yet another but the doctors are afraid to do it because of a rare blood disorder and not to get to explicit had to have most of her intestine removed. She is permanantly disabled . Although not together any more we still are close and get along great so I am looking for help for her. She was told by medicaid she no longer qualifies under their new guidelines because she makes to much money on disability??
Yes her state disability pays to much? This is a woman who worked her whole life. Well without medicaid there is no way she can afford the numerous life sustaining medications. Without these meds the odds of her dying are dramatically high. These are not pain meds they are controlling her blod clotting problems. Does anyone know of any lawyers out there will to take up her cause pro bono ?? Any help is appreciated. We are at our wits end as the state has basically given her a death sentence at age 54 !!!!
