About us
Adorable Pets by Dena has been proudly serving the Valrico/Brandon area for the past 23 years. At APBD, we take pride in making your pet look unique and special. For every pet that comes through our doors we make it a good, fun loving experience for them. We use only the best products on all of our animals. All of our talented Groomers are educated on all of the latest styles and techniques. Our groomers have a combined total of over 80+years grooming experience!!! All of our services come with a massaging bath, toenail clip, ear cleaning, bows or bandana, and a stylish haircut. (we can also do everything without the haircut, for our less furry friends =). We are open Monday-Friday from 7:30am-6:00pm. Drop off between 7:30am-9:00am. Make an appointment for your pet and let us pamper your favorite pooch!

Dena
Mrs. Dena Sweeny-Craig Developed a love for grooming 32 years ago. She attended the Florida School of Grooming and excelled in her class. Dena loves grooming every breed and style. Her most favorite has to be Shelties and Airedales. She has 3 doggie kids of her own (a Bernese Mtn Dog, a long haired and short haired chihuahua) and 3 human kids =). She grew up in Maryland and has been in the Tampa Bay area for 33 years. She decided to open Adorable Pets by Dena 23 years ago and the rest is history ;)
Retta
Ms. Retta has been honing her grooming skills for nearly 27 years! She has a very special place in her heart from grooming cats. She works with us on Mondays grooming just cats. She will give your precious kitty hugs and kisses the entire time he or she is visiting her =)
Joan
Mrs. Joan began her love of grooming animals 7 years ago. She hails from New York, but has been in Florida for 20+ years. She enjoys grooming all breeds, Yorkies are her absolute favorite to groom. She has 2 dogs at home ( a Rottie and a Yorkie) whom she spoils almost as much as she spoils her clients =). She has 2 (human) kids too. Joan has also been Employee of the Month... show more for 3 months in a row!!
Diane
Ms. Diane has been developing her grooming skills for 20 years! She has had a special place in her heart for raising and grooming Poodles for over 18 years. She adores any animal she meets. She was born and raised in Florida and is a true Florida native. She is one of the sweetest ladies you will ever know. She will treat your baby just like it is one of her own!
Randy
We call Randy our "Dog whisperer". If a dog is feeling nervous or scared, he calms the pup right down. He has 10 years experience working for Adorable Pets by Dena. He loves all dogs and makes sure to send them home looking and smelling great. He recently got married to his his sweetheart in November and is about to become a new (puppy) Daddy =)
Ivana
Ivana is the first face you will see when you walk through our door. She is our awesome receptionist and keeps everything running smooth. She makes sure all of our special "finishing touches" are put on your pooch and is sent home happy, feeling, and looking great too! She has been working for Dena for over 3 years. show more
