  Hope this is OK to post. We are looking for a new vet for our cats. Our current vet has recently been sold out to a company and we now feel that we are not getting the care and service that we used to. We are looking for a local, caring vet and not a large chain (ie: pets at home) anywhere in Thanet. I was recommended Eagle vet but would like to hear about other vets also. Thanks!

  They also have one in Minster,We moved to them after being with our vet over 20 years for the same reason they just wanted your money, we have been with them now for 5 years, Birchington 01843 845050, Minster 01843 825999 Both Eagle Vets, hope it helps.

  My parents used to use briar house but when our dog died they never got another pet for a long time but now have a cat and use the George at eagle vets and wouldn't change vets for the world X x

  As an ex VN at Briar House I would thoroughly recommend Susan Smith the owner there. Also Worked with George of Eagle Vets and I never worked with a more conscientious, caring and not money motivated Vet. Either practice will give you a great and genuinely caring service.

  Can I ask what's wrong with your dog? It it something that could wait til morning? I ask because PDSA would be the best if you've limited funds. Eagle vets would be one of the best one of not. Just to note tho your nearest PDSA is now in Clifftonville x
