Sleep dentistry on EP True parkway .. that's the only way to go! Life point dental partners is what they're called. Worth the drive. I can't do regular dentists. . Too scary for me.. this place will take care of you and you won't even have to be aware of the work you're having done:)

If choosing the right dentist is that important, don't narrow yourself to Ankeny only. Dr Karbacka at Dental Associates in WDM is the BEST. His hygienist is excellent and he's awesome!

My husband had key word had phobia issues. Now he doesn't at all we see Dr Steven Neville at Bondurant family dentistry. I know you said ankeny but Bondurant is not far at all and completely understand my husband avoided a dentist for over decade. Best of luck.

I am the exact same way!! Terrible fear of just the smell of the dentist office. I have just recently started seeing Dr. Nelson at Advanced Family Dentistry in Ankeny and I can say it has been great (for a dentist visit) she is kind and puts ur mind at ease. She is caring and softspoken. They use nitrous as needed which defiantly helped!! She is only there Mondays but she is great!!!
