Chapa De does take Medi cal, but they are not accepting new patients, that is the problem everyone on Medi cal is having these days, is finding a doctor that is accepting new Patients. My Son is assigned to Chapa De, but he can't go because they are full, so in order for him to be seen I am told he will have to get in the back door way, by going to the Emergency Room first.

Trust me I've been through this it's the Covered CA insurance. Blue Shield is the only one they take up here. They take the regular blue cross but not Cov CA blue cross.

However, for emergency situations (more than a few times cuz I have kids) I used Sierra Doctors Medical Group on 49 where it meets 80 across from In and Out burger. They are an UrgentCare that operates also as a practice and all the doctors we have seen there seem pretty good.
