There all in the same situation. Bushtakah even posted that if you want a bike this late this year or more likely spring 2022 you have to pre-order now. Shipments are going to be thin and late is the word. There still seems to be quite a few coming up used on Ottawa Bicycle Classifieds and Marketplace on Facebook but it depends on what type and size you are looking for

Thanks for all your help. Bicyclettes de Hull is receiving a handful of bikes in the next few weeks and I reserved one. This one though will be kept in the house from now on. Heads up for anyone else looking!

In a lot of neighborhoods there are rentable garages. In charles village, where I used to live, there was something like this behind a block of businesses, for example. And they posted signs when there were available garages. There also used to be a cowork garage on 29th street where you could store your bike over winter, use their jacks and heavy tools, and work on your bike. I did that for a couple of years, but then they unfortunately went under.
It was a great idea: but it went wrong predictably. One example: They would hold classes, and I took one, which was intro to welding. It was great fun, learned a ton, have a nice piece of steel that I 'made'. The problem: They were not insured for this, they were using their personal gear (nice stuff, mig and tig) and some idiot in the class broke one of the welding machines to the tune of $8k. They also made custom bikes, and did repairs, but as awesome as it was, I think it would be tough to make it work financially.
In your case, with bikes and a car, a rental garage would be best. If it is for limited work, honestly, just see if a local shop will let you pay to use space when they are closed. I did this with a shop I lived near, and after a while they even let me use their tools, which was simply amazing.
Good luck, keep those wrenches turning. Happy to help if I can.
