have you tried www.borrowmydoggy.com. We have a few sitters we use for different occasions. I live in the centre and had my choice of over 100. You message them, then meet them on a walk a few times then they have them for free. You have to pay a small fee to subscribe to the site but it is way cheaper than daycare and the people really want to look after the dogs.
