Tressa Lynn James is in Issaquah, but like me, I don't think she takes insurance. If Nathan Niiramaya Gray is still working in Carrie Babcock's chiropractic office that may be an option. Otherwise, Jude Waller and Meg Kane are wonderful, although not in Issaquah, but close.

My thigh withered away so much after I had knee surgery 4 years ago. Running was actually the thing that brought it back...but I didn't start running until about a year after. Still struggling with my knee years later for different reasons -I saw PT at Pro Club on Willows in Redmond a few months ago and they were great (you don't have to be a member).

I can recommend two gyms with great trainers - Impact Strength and Performance in Bellevue (near 130 th and Bel-Red). Email Drew Ragan drew@goimpactstrength.com. Also, Dan and Adam Kleckner, Kutting Edge Fitness dan@kuttingedgefitness. Experienced trainers who are now in the Rose Hill neighborhood of Kirkland.

I've had several knee surgeries, be patient, but keep at it. It takes awhile to get back those muscles...focus on your hips too, just working quads can cause trouble with your knee. Falcon PT in Bellevue, he's great, knows athletes and will work you. He's an Ironman guy...
