Community Pet Hospital, open until 6 pm today and until 5 pm Saturday, we love having pups come in!:) 654-7622 Cost depends on how many pups, what vaccines, ect. Wellness exam is $30 per animal, distemper/Pavo I believe is $25 and then there are deworming options if you are interested. Sometimes if it's a full litter in for puppy shots, one exam fee is charged and then vaccines from there.

We have had Animal Hospital on Main St. in Heights for 15 years with a variety of dogs and ages ranging from puppies to old dogs and he is GREAT !!! Dr. Ed Laine, he does not gouge on prices, loves the animals, explains things in detail and I would highly recommend him.

We love Skyview Vet and get fabulous service there every time! The staff is superb and Dr. McLane has taken really good care of our crazy pets and their issues - from our precious Golden who thinks she's a Duggar who loves to have adorable, naughty and unruly puppies to when the German Shepherd decided to pick a fight with a porcupine. The porcupine lost as our mighty Champ killed him, but not before the porcupine covered his face with needles - ouch! Even our Goldens got caught in that fight and all three hooligans had to be put under while Dr. McLane and his team got rid of all the needles. The vet bill was very reasonable and they saved their lives! I will not trust our precious criminals to any other hospital as the service we get there is always outstanding!

Dr. McLane at Skyview Vet is fantastic! We take our 6 dogs and 1 cat there. The dogs range from 4-13 yrs old and he's taken great care of them all including spays, cyst removal and even a mass cell tumor removal. Honest and very reasonable prices!

If you're worried about cost I'd encourage you to get a care credit card and insurance on your pup. Healthy Paws and Embrace are two good companies.

The shelter only offers vaccinations for animals being adopted. Shipton's Big R has a vet come in once a month (I believe) who do low cost vaccinations and microchipping.
