Does anyone you have a recommendation for a family doctor or pediatrician who is supportive of families who have made the choice to not circumcise their sons? If so,...

I also recommend Dr. Gail Eberharter with FunMedIdaho. She has been very supportive of our decisions. http://www.funmedidaho.com/
JoeyandTara H. replied:
Dr Butuk was very open minded Giving us an unbiased view at both sides & leaving the decision up to us without any judgments. (just as he does with vaccines)
Pete T. replied:
Dr. Ashley Davis, Davis family Medicine was supportive of that particular decision that we made.
Nikki G. replied:
Dr Lisa Barker treasure valley Peds, was supportive. Only problem I had to ask her not to retract, she should have known that.
Jennifer L. replied:
2 nd for Dr Butuk, he is awesome
Brittney H. replied:
Dr. Lee with treasure valley peds doesn't care at all about circs. Keep in mind any treasure valley peds doc is very hard to get into unless mother is pregnant. A lot aren't accepting new patients at all. And they might be fine with circs but we do get a struggle with vaccines. They respect our schedule but we get a lecture all the time. I always recommend Dr. Butuk for natural patents even tho he wasn't a good fit for us

We love Dr. Butuk at Meridian Family Medicine.

Loved our pediatrician at Treasure Valley Pediatric in Meridian. Her name was Lisa Barker. She just started practicing about 5 years ago which is why we went with her - its gonna be a long time before she retires!
Mark G. replied:
Dr. Kiel at st. Als is the best!
Monique G. replied:
We go to Scott Schwendiman at St Alphonsus Medical Group down on Emerald, kind of by St Als. It's a bit of a drive but he is so good. He takes time to answer all questions and really take care of the patient. There have been a few times that he has called me after five to answer questions. He's about my age and I am pretty sure he will be here for a while. We've gone there nine years and the kids really like him, too.
Rachel G. replied:
I love my doctor, called to check on the kids after hours with test results and to see house he or she was doing. I also love his nurse, Amanda, they are awesome... Both are in their mid to late 30's. His name is Dr. Eric Roy at treasure valley pediatrics.
Cherish T. replied:
Mine is at Meridian Pediatrics, Van Steenbergen. I love that office.
Josh-Tonya L. replied:
Hey, Kaylene, if I remember right you guys saw Dr Lewer when I worked there. We also saw him and he did go above and beyond. If Dr Shappard is still there I would recommend him. His patients love him and he really seems to care about each one. I wouldn't be surprised though if he isn't taking on anymore new patients. I used to work at all of the St Al's clinics and I would also agree with your friend that recommended Dr Schwindemen at the Emerald clinic. I didn't get a chance to work at the pediatric clinic much but I hear they are great there. Good luck!

I use Bruce Belzar at Primary Health, if he's still accepting patients. He doesn't discount whole body medicine or chiropractic. And my chiropractor is Tim Dudley over on Park Center. He's great and loves working with families.
Lori B. replied:
I really like our chiropractor - Tim Klena. He is all about natural remedies, vitamins and supplements. He is in downtown Boise.
I need some recommendations for an excellent Family Doctor. If you could, please give their name as well as their business and it's location if possible. Thanks!
