Kauai is my fav Hawaiian island. There is a lovely beach here https://www.google.com/maps/place/Brennecke%27 s+Beachfront+Restaurant/@21.8738679,-159.4534642,15 z/data=!4 m2!3 m1!1 s0 x0:0 xf8 a72 f57 f92 be8 d where you can snorkel in shallow to deep water. Little fish everywhere! And no BIG water. It was my favorite spot since I'm not the best swimmer. Also, there are Swim with Dolphins outtings. More casual swim with a group. Loved that! As I hugged my swim noodle.

Oh! There's a cool brewery there that we went to, complete with a black sand beach! Just tried to google Waimea Brewing Company, but it looks like it closed. Bummer.
I'm new to the area. Are there any good breakfast cafes? All I've managed to find are drive-thru coffee stands and while those are enjoyable I'd like somewhere that has...

Buttered Biscuit has two locations: Sumner and Bonney Lake. Dixie's in Sumner is good too, and usually faster since they're not as crowded.

Urban Timber by WinCo has awesome veggie breakfast burritos! I haven't tried anything else there, but I love their ambiance, they are super nice, and my 4 and 2 year old are able to hang out there on the couch while I enjoy my coffee. As a bonus, they do have a drive through as well, and serve wine and beer in the evenings

I LOVE THE WINDMILL IN SUMNER. ALWAYS GREAT FOOD and WONDERFUL SERVICE. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT. I GET THE PRIME DIP OR CRAB SANDWICH WITH BUTTERMILK FRIES

We used to go to Berryland Cafe in Sumner. But we've not been there in a few years. And Dormid Mi is right. According to my husband and grandson, the food at Mad Dogs is good, but a bit pricey.
Kathy M. replied:
Agree about Berryland. And if you like HUGE portions, the Buttered Biscuit along 410 East of the Safeway shopping area is good.
Hello all!

MUST try Trappers Sushi by the movie theatre (even if, possibly especially if, you don't like sushi. They are a whole new thing and you will lOve them. Everyone I tell that to and they try it, does). They're a little pricey but if you go Sunday between 3-6 it's happy hour where you can get 3 rolls for $20 AND it's kids eat free all day. Buttered Biscuit is also really good!
Any family friendly places recommended to watch the game? Besides obvious choices like chain restaurants. We're cutting the cable but we still love our Hawks! Any fun...

Love Gordon & Purdy's. It's a bar but with great food and people are loud or annoying. We watched the Sounders match there last week.

Check The Chalet theater in Enumclaw. I'm pretty sure they show the games for free on the movie screen.
