Timberline Crossfit in East Bremerton- I've been going since May and I've gotten so much stronger- I use to just do cardio but this is a much better full body workout. Right now there are 5 am, 10 am, 5 pm and 6 pm WODs. Free family friendly community WODs on Saturdays at 10:30 am. Smaller than some other "boxes"- classes tend to have 5-8 members on average I'd say but that just makes it feel more like personal training and everyone is really friendly and encouraging!

Fitness Evo is great. The only thing is you have to give a notice when canceling and then you are charged the following month then it's done.. they charge 34$ after 2 months as a maintenance fee. Which all gyms do. It's no contract they won't charge you 60$ for canceling.

Yes CF is expensive but you have to look at what you get. $120 a month.... If you go 4 times a week that is 16 times in a month which costs you $7.50/class for personal trainer........ Annapolis Fitness is another great gym and I think they're $50/month. They have a variety of classes to choose from.

Second person today asking about Planet Fitness. My opinion they steal. They have complaints not from just me but many others. They took money out of my bank account without my permission. Again many people have this complaint. My opinion is any company that will not bill you but require you to give them access to your bank account is not a good idea. Fitness Evolution looks promissing. The price is right if you are on a budget. We would be there if they had childcare. We do the Y (we pay for hourly childcare there), but the only way we can afford it is because my fee is waived (UWT charges students on our tuition for Y use) and my husband has a military discount.

Kitsap Tennis and Athletic Center is uncrowded; in addition to fitness equipment, has a salt water pool with some great water aerobics classes. Really depends on what you're looking for.

I heard Fitness Evolution is temporarily where Rite Aid was until their place next door is done. Not sure about showers, but doubt there will be a pool.

I saw Cody Smith at CrossFit Seven Cities Members for personal training for the better part of a year. He's awesome, super supportive, challenging, and friendly. Great gym.
