VCA in silverdale. Dr. Hickey saved my dogs life and she gives you so many different options what she recommends to what is actually needed. It can be expensive but they have great pet insurance and I love that they have a 24 hour emergency.

Poulsbo Animal Clinic. A little bit of a drive for you but totally worth it. Family owned and operated. They practice really good medicine, don't cut corners and the staff is Fear Free certified.

I’d second the Ridgetop Animal Hospital or VCA Central Kitsap in Silverdale. Had good experiences with both.

I can not recommend Central Valley Animal hospital enough. We have a dog and two cats and are so happy we switched vets last year after another friend recommended them. One visit and our dogs long time issues were resolved. Wished we had switched long ago. We would have saved a ton of time and money and our poor dogs misery. Central Valley Animal hospital

I just went to Wheaton Way for the first time and I loved how honest Dr. Curran was. I previously went to Poulsbo Marina and I feel like the male vet just didn't care enough but I found out they had sold the practice and were leaving a week later. Before that I went to Alder Trails and I feel like it's gone downhill and I had a traumatic experience putting my cat to sleep, lack of respect, and just overall uneasy with the vet handling my new dog and my dog has not snapped at a any vet since. That vet I've heard is gone. My mom still sees Dr Yeik but she's switching to their other vet to try out otherwise she'll switch offices.

Second Bayview Vet on Kitsap Way. They have been our vet for at least 25 years. Very knowledgeable and reasonably priced.

Alder Trail. Dr. Yeik is the owner, and he is a skilled diagnostician. He has cared for my animals since 2005. They have just added Dr. Norah Soo, who did surgery on one of my dogs last summer, a complicated hernia repair, and did a great job. I can recommend either of them. They are going to add a third associate this fall, I hear, but don't know more than that.

Cedar Creek in port orchard was amazing. I thought I was going to lose my dog, she got hit by a car and her pelvis was broken. I was very shaken up, but they were extremely caring and attentive, made me feel super comfortable about leaving my dog there, and made my old dog that doesn't get out much VERY comfortable.

Bayview vet. Been going there for 16 years. Have never felt they over charged or over prescribed treatment. Fair.

Indy Darst has helped me with my cats for years, even helped me train them to be the sweethearts they are. I trust her to this day whenever I have any animal related questions. She works over at Woodside Animal Hospital in Port Orchard.

Not sure what happened. My comment posted twice so I deleted the duplicate. Well, both got deleted. Ridgetop Animal Hospital has been great. We have been taking our pure bred Brittany there since we got him & he's almost 9 months old now. The techs and vets we have met are very kind, thoughtful and patient. Best of all, it's clear they love animals as everyone there has always been quite affectionate with our pup.

We have gone to Bremerton Animal Hospital for YEARS with our 2 doxies, and my MIL goes there as well. It feels a bit rough around the edges (as does the doctor) but it helps keep their prices super reasonable. The doctor is very knowledgeable and loving, and his vet tech is ah-mazing.

ALWAYS Dr. Yeik at Alder Trail - not sure he's working this summer though - he's always caring and honest.

We've taken all our fur babies and gecko to All Creatures Animal Hospital in Gorst. For 20 plus years.

My friend brought her dog to Blue Collar from Federal Way area they are so good.

Kitsap Mobile Grooming. Vet wise I just had my girl done at Alder Trails she's about 11 lbs and it cost around $250 for cleaning with no extractions. That included a small health panel check beforehand. They do require you to be seen by a vet within 30 days of scheduling a cleaning though.

Cookies Pet Corner has teeth cleaning scheduled occasionally. Under $200 per doggo.

Bremerton Animal on Callow. Get a referral from PAWS & the visit is only $28.00. I've recently taken 2 of my pets there & he knew right away what was wrong & sent them home w/ meds that weren't very expensive & both have been doing great. If you want sweet soft energy from a vet & state of the art building, don't go there! The place is funky but he knows his stuff!

I use Purdy Vetrinary for my dogs. Only people I trust. They provide top notch care at good prices. A little bit of a drive but so worth it.

It's not in port orchard but it's very close and worth the extra 10 min drive.. I go to Purdy Veterinary. It's right behind peninsula high school! My dog just had 16 teeth removed a couple days ago and they were absolutely amazing! My family and I have been taking our dogs there for 20 years! Love them!

We also have Care Credit and highly recommend. If bill is over a certain amount you can get three or six months same as cash..make sure you always ask for it.
