Have you looked into care.com. Someone told me about it but not sure how reliable it is. I'm dealing with the child care dilemma too. Daycares are so expensive and it's hard to find a good home daycare

We looked into care.com last year and I printed off the people we liked since we only subscribed for a month to try it out. Trouble was, many were college kids with flaky schedules; those that were more consistent definitely charged for it --- I think we paid one girl $90 for 6 hours at $15 an hour. We were only able to have her come one day a week in a pinch, and eventually had to stop doing so.

Carolyn Alford-Phillips my sister Danielle Mitchelson Davis runs a in-home daycare maybe she can give you some resources. She lives in Tampa but she knows a lot about licensing and such.
