Dr Woodward at Campbell River Vet Hospital on S Island Hwy was amazing with my dog when we moved here from Sask. Really liked him, didn't do anything unnecessary

I use CR Vet and have had great experiences there. Dr. Woodward is awesome and not pushy. He educates and lets you make your own choice. He is very quiet and calm with my dog. I think a lot of people forget that the vet will tell you what they think is best BUT you don't have to do what they say. You can pay your exam fee and leave. And go get a second opinion. In the end it is your pet not theirs.

I have been taking my dogs and cats to Coastland Vet Hospital in Willow Point for many years, all their vets are great. They have little bio's about each Dr on one of the walls in the reception area if you wanted to go by & check the place out then you could book an appt with the vet you feel most connected to. They are located at 181 Larwood Road & their # 250 926 0006. They also offer evening appts for their clients and have 2 hr emergency service, I can't say enough but I love them all there.

We always take both our dogs to Dr Woodward at CR Vet Hospital. He's been amazing with them - super caring and takes the time to explain everything to me and always follows up with you after.

You get what you pay for... cheaper is not always best. One of my pet sitting clients had a bad experience at Greenwood Vet (went their as it was the cheapest) only to find out when they left town and I noticed something wrong so took to my vet at Coastland Vet Hospital 250-926-0006 to see about what was going on and with one test found out and had they had to make one of the toughest decisions to put him down while they were away (couldn't get back in time) so I stayed by his side for them and the ladies at Coastland were so compassionate and my pet sitting clients were so impressed with the follow-up after they got home (received a card) that if they ever decide to get another dog that is where they will go! Sorry for they lengthy response but thought I would share a good & bad scenario as you asked.

SPCA has a great program going right now to have your kitty fixed and tattooed if you call them they will set you up with a vet also, we went to Mercroft Vet and they were awesome with our kitty. You pay 30.00 for them to be fix and it goes back into the program

Yes it's quite a bit. Leaky big time, and he is so stuffed up in his nose he is coughing and puking. I am actually on the way to CR Vet Hospital right now so we will see what's going on, it's really sad, he looks in so much pain
