I have been wondering about pediatric dentistry that accepts Ahcccs. My son was going to timber falls and they discontinued accepting state funds. I was recommend Arizona Pediatric dentistry (Dr. Welch) but the seemingly push for conscious sedation seems unnecessary. Dental comfort for my son is a high priority, so any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

We like Dr Megan Davidson at alta dermatology its a wait to see her but thats says alot about a good doctor.

Healthfirst family medicine for PCP, and i hear Dr Huish at University OBGYN is amazing. I dont see him, but my sis-in-law does.

I'm sorry I would NOT recommend anyone to Hilda Vidal, my husband was in the hospital for over a week and we got a bill from her saying that she seen him !! When she never did. Are there 2 DR. Padillas at banner ! I would never go to Riveria Padilla . My husband is a kidney transplant patient. And he called us and said we needed to go check in at the er his kidney is failing ! We go they run test and what do u know his kidney is fine we were discharged a few hours later ! As u can tell I have not had any good experiences with a couple DR out here. It's sad to say but again driving out to the city may be worth it.

Why do you say not to go to Sunlife? I thought Dr Paul was good?

Thanks for your input folks. It seems there are no quality phycians in Maricopa with the exception of several docs at Banner. I highly agree with everyone that Dr. Lipp (peds), Dr. Sorenson (peds), Dr. River-Padilla (internal med) & Dr. Pavlovich (family practice) are awesome. After speaking with their office manager Bernice-she is awesome too. She acted with compassion and promptness. I'm realizing that I have to decide what is the better of the evils. Dealing with some frustrations w/ my daughters current provider or driving into Ahwatukee, Chandler or Casa Grande just to possibly find the same situation. Thank God I have been in the medical field myself for so long that I am able to advocate for my daughter & know when a situation isn't right. Thanks again! For those searching for a new physician that fits you-GOOD LUCK!! =)

Shawna Mesa-Buehrer, your comment about Dr. Vidal billing your husband. I can say that if you go to a hospital, the on call doctor will bill you just as if you get blood test (for example), you will get a bill from Sonora Quest. Depending on what is done at the hospital, you could get a hospital bill, doctor bill, and lab bill. So, she may have been there or one of her staff. If you want to dispute it, you can ask for your hubby's medical records to see which doctors actually saw him during his weekend stay. I know this from research and being a patient in the hospital and going through it.: )

Another 2 cents. If you are looking for a pediatrician who is EXTREMELY informative (and not exaggerating) at Banner. Dr. Seward is your doctor. We have seen him a couple of times and we leave there learning a lot!

To many reasons to list about why goodman & partridge are no good (being nice). I personally think the sun shine shoots out of Dr . Andrew Villa's butt (OB/GYN)-he goes above & beyond! Was a ex patient of G & P-was referred to Dr.Villa by a doc I was working for at the time. That was 13 yrs ago-he is WONDERFUL & pretty easy on the eyes too!LOL

I love Dr. Jean Paul. She is awesome with my kids one who is special needs and my self who I suffer from many health issues. I have never had an issue with her compassion at all. She cares so much about me and my health. And I am very white and not native American. I think everyone on here has expressed the dislike and like for a doctor. We have to go to who we think will meet our needs. And she has been the only one who has dealt with my medical issues so well. And she deals with special needs so well. My mom loves her as well. And I love her humor she makes me laugh.

I go to Dr. Padilla at Banner and I like him. Whatever you do DON'T go to Sunlife!!! They are the WORST!

My granddaughter is a pt of Dr. Sorenson at Banner Pediatrics. If you want your 16 yr old to see a gyn dr try the Goodman Partridge over behind Walgreens.

I highly recommend Dr. Hilda Vidal. She owns her own practice behind Walgreens.

I see Dr Tsai with Hatfield Family Medicine. I really like him and the nurse practitioner in the office. And his kids go to Mariposa. Lol. I didn't know and we saw him dropping them off one day.
