I'm not sure if she will be up your alley, but we've decided to go with [Britney Clause Photography](https://britneyclause.com/). We met her over a video meeting (because fuck driving from Northern VA to MD, dat traffic). She does a lot of photojournalistic/candid shots, and I feel like her photos are so beautiful and vibrant! She and her husband are both SO sweet and I love them:) All of her packages include engagement photos AND a second photographer, so I felt like we were getting a lot for our money!

Mantas Kubilinskas from Mantas Photo is fantastic. He is creative, unique, but also very accommodating of more traditional family photos if necessary. He is also very funny and fantastic at making everyone comfortable. I highly recommend my photographer, [Olivia Jacob.](http://oliviajacob.com/) Her prices are very reasonable for the area and she has a great photojournalist style. I told her straight up that I didn't want pinterest-y cutesy pictures - getting that perfectly staged photo wasn't important to me. We just wanted beautiful candid photos of us and our guests. The day of the wedding she just kinda disappeared and did her thing, I actually forget she was there. Then a few weeks later she delivered these beautiful, candid, emotional images. Worth every penny. She's so great.

I'm using [Krysta Norman](http://www.krystanorman.com/). I'm not sure if that fits into your idea but thought I'd recommend. So far, I love the quality of her pictures. Her communication isn't as on-point as I'd like it to be, but I think maybe she was a bit busier than she let on in the fall. I'd give her a 4/5. That's just for the engagement pictures.

And I would also suggest signing up on theknot.com. you can put in your information and they give you a calendar of when you should have certain things done according to your wedding date and they also give you a budget calculator where you can put in your absolute highest dollar and they can tell you how to split it up on everything

They have bundles that include everything from evenlopes to reap cards(everything you can imagine in one) also they have blank Invites that you can print at home so you can have them say whatever you want. Good place for table Decorations and just table settings is oriental trading. All different colors and super cheap
