Midwife group at Swedish is the best. I haven't had one I didn't like!

Midwifes are excellent at Swedish. The Centering group, new moms group, childbirth classes all great education at Swedish. Pediatric group is good option too. And although very early, keep Galter LifeCenter baby swim class in mind. All the best and congratulations!

My sister and I both loved our doctors out of IL Masonic. I can’t remember the name of the practice but it’s something like OBGYN Faculty Practice at 3000 n halsted. Dr. Branch is great, but I love the whole group. They take BCBS

I took Mia to Lakeview Pediatrics, Dr Newport, but she saw all the doctors their and we both liked them. I like Dr Danao and Dr Egues, I take Mateo to them now.

Dr. Cherian is my kids pediatrician too! She is great and supportive. We have been through a lot with Ty.

Dr. Cherian goes above and beyond. Darian has been through a lot this year and she's been great through it all.

Dr. Wos is hands down one of the best docs I've ever seen and is an incredible OB/GYN. So caring and take as much time as a patient needs. I'd switched from her care to midwives when I was pregnant because I wanted that approach. They were great, but I need to be transferred back to an OB-GYN due to a complication. She was fantastic, and suggested alternative therapies includes accupuncture with a very open mind. I would have driven to her Park Ridge office if I needed to, that's how strongly I feel she stands out among other providers.

I second Ravenswood Family Medicine and add Dr. Gina Scheunemann to the list.

I really like Dr. Matar at Swedish. She is a family practice doc and has a warm, open bedside manner. She shares office with DOs who are in high demand but take no new patients.

***I should clarify that I am done with my child-bearing years after 2 kids and just looking for a great female physician who is especially great w women's health and may lean towards more natural approaches although I already have a great chiropractor but also have used acupuncture and Ayurvedic medicine which I'm sure is not covered by insurance!

NYE partners on Michigan. All female practice, and they had a cool fish tank in the lobby!

I was with Chicago women's health group for years and was very satisfied with my care there but it is a huge practice, if your looking for something more intimate this might not be the best choice. I saw a male Gyno there Dr. Kelsey which is unsettling for some but I thought he was a great Gyno!
