The Beach Shop is good right there by the house. The Shrimp and grits is scrumptious!! River view is too far unless you just want to site see especially when you're right near some really great places. The Sea Bisque is excellent@Sea Breeze in surf City. It's new.

Didn't know there was a Bonefish Grill, here. I've eaten at one somewhere and that would be a good choice. Cheesecake Factory is good but a bit too busy. The food is good but it's sort of like a, uh... factory. You know what I mean?

We've tried the Skyline Cafe and been disappointed. It was several years ago and can't recall what the issue was but we left there saying, "We won't be back." Have you had a good experience, there, Denise?

Happy 30 th Linda Payne. John it depends on how much you want to spend? We like Sullivans or Second Empire in downtown Raleigh, but they are more expensive than your typical chain steakhouse. We only go on special occasions like a birthday or anniversary. We like Outback or Olive Garden for a chain restaurant. If you are feeling adventurous, there are some good thai places around too.
