I'm getting his meds from CVS now. But UGA vet hospital said the New antibiotic would not be one I can get from a human pharmacy.

Have you tried petmeds.com ? I just looked and 100 of the Gabapentin 300 mg would be $25. That's cheaper than what you are paying now. Maybe cheaper on the new meds too.
