All Rural diesel are solid, though not cheap. I've heard great things about the Bosch Service Centre. Diesel Dave from NT Roadside Recovery is an awesome mobile mechanic that knows Prados well.

My parents have been in the mechanic industry for as long as I can remember (not any more though), and I would recommend Brian Turner's Automotive Service Centre, near the city. He's not the most bubbly guy but his main concern is cars and is extremely honest.

Diesel mechanic here, Coles motors in Yarrawonga for light vehicles. Spent a month working for pete Coles as part of my apprenticeship and can definitely recommend as a no bullshit honest workshop, but due to that is always quite busy
