If you're looking for something unique to Dallas (local ingredients, etc), I'd look at Bolsa in Oak Cliff. They've been around for a while, but they're solid and delicious. Other standouts include some that have been listed already - Cane Rosso for Neapolitan pizza, Smoke for BBQ, and Emporium Pies for dessert. I'll throw in a call for one of my current favs in Dallas - a French bistro in Bishop Arts called Boulevardier. So good.
