I don't know what it's called but it has fruit in the middle and on top and it's delicious. Denver staple.

[Le' Bakery Sensual](http://lebakerysensual.com/category/erotic-cakes-cakes/erotic-cakes-of-men/) makes cakes that you [can't get at a grocery store](http://lebakerysensual.com/2015/07/topless-stripper-cake/).

Maybe a tad bit far for you, but [Gateaux Bakery](https://www.gateauxpastries.com/) at Speer and 12 th makes cakes that taste just as good as they look. My buddy hires them to make custom cakes for almost every event he hosts and not once did their cakes disappoint. [Rick and Morty strawberry shortcake birthday cake!](https://i.imgur.com/qEsjUUt.jpg)
Daniel's of Paris has amazing cakes. Cake Crumbs and Mermaids Bakery are also awesome.

Most cake you get in Denver is dry and not very good because of the altitude and climate here (and low standards, to be honest). That said, the cake at Azucar is really good!
Anyone know any good cake makers in the neighborhood or a inexpensive bakery?

Rosenberg’s bakery has the best little Jewish treats! Try black and white cookies, rugelach, and hamantashen if they have them! These may be a little new to you, but they’re my absolute favorite baked goods. (Also try rosenberg’s bagels. They’re to die for.)

Valente's on 72/Lowell is great for all your Italian baked goods. They are closing at 4 pm now. Cannolis, Baklava, tea cookies, eclairs, etc. All VERY cheap too, less than $2 per item. Friendly employees as well. :)

I operate under the cottage food laws and typically only focus on naturally leavened sourdough breads, but have been trying to accommodate for my regulars and friends who have reached out on social media with little projects like this over the last couple weeks.
If you’re understanding of the fact that some of the ingredients “may carry risk of food-borne illness” and are produced slightly circumventing the boundaries of the cottage food law, I would be happy to provide. This isn’t something I am usually willing to do but under the circumstances I’ve been making pretzels, biscuits, burger buns, and leaner doughs like sandwich loaves and brioche.
I’m located in Sunnyside and am available for pickup 3 or 4 days every week.
