Dr. Delaughter does lots of different kinds of diet things. He is located in Duncan. I can give you his number, you can call and ask his office staff whatever questions you need to know. They are wonderful and very helpful. Lisa Dill Hall is one of them.

Dr. Zweig. I gave birth at Southwestern. I like it because it's a smaller facility. They also do skin to skin right after and you can choose to keep your baby in the room with you or the nursery depending on your preference. Post partum rooms are private and have an extra bed for you spouse or support person. The staff there was excellent.

Both hospitals are good but just like any place there are ups and downs. I have done numerous transfers over the years from both places. Personally I prefer CCMH better for several reasons. What I like best is they do skin to skin after delivery and the baby stays with you the whole time you are in the rm. Any of the Dr's at MMG OB GYN Clinic are great and this is where you will find your high risk Dr's as well. CCMH does offer L&D tours that are free every Thursday at 11am and meet in the lobby. If I were you I'd probably do the tour and contact SWMC to see about touring their L&D than decide from there which hospital you would prefer to deliver at. The staff at both hospitals are great and will be more than happy to show you around as well as answer any questions you have.

I'm 32 weeks pregnant and I have been seeing Dr. Hurst! Anytime I have had any problems she has seen me right away at her practice if it's been within hours (once, after hours, she called me personally and talk to me about the problem and recommended that I go to the birth center for observation). She always makes sure to spend plenty of time to meet with me and answers any questions I have. She makes me feel very comfortable. I was unsure about using her because I hadn't heard anything about her, but I found out it's probably because she's new to Duncan. I talked to a friend who's a labor and delivery nurse and she said that she's great and has excellent bedside manner. I'm really excited to see how she is whenever I go into labor! So far, I highly recommend her!

Stacie Herndon Elfrink is absolutely amazing when I was pregnant with my daughter I was seeing a doctor besides her and I started having severe complications at 25 weeks so I went to Duncan instead of Lawton long story short of it wasn't for her my daughter and me would have died that night if I could see her for general practice as well I would!!! Would absolutely not recommend anyone else except maybe tovar because that night he was there to help
