I can't vouch for anything beyond a dental cleaning, but I went to Orion Family Dental on Saginaw. It had been awhile since I had gone to the dentist but was amazed they did a "live image x-ray" of my teeth that I was able to see seconds after the exposure. Maybe that's commonplace now, but either way I was impressed with the new technology.

I actually called Dr. Ruster and they don't accept our insurance!! Thanks though =)

I don't know about if they accept delta dental but I love my dentist because he does the cleanings himself so you really know he knows what he's talking about. His name is Mark Dewitt. His number is 517-323-7926. Give him a call and see if he takes your insurance. He takes my weirdo insurance so who knows.

I second Wilcox Theresa on Dr. Charcut! For a dentist, I STRONGLY recommend Dr. Hubbard out near Frandor. If they use your insurance, he is easily the best in Lansing. He is also an accredited member of the "American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry". (which only a few hundred people in the U.S. have) Their number is 517-332-2422.

Dr. Crawford is downtown lansing, he is an oral surgeon as well as they do cleanings, fillings, everything. He's great!!

Dr. Martzke across from Corner Cone on Harrison. Mid-Mich Oral Surgery by Taco Bell are excellent for wisdom teeth. Martzke does routine extractions though.

Dr Peters on Haslett Rd!! She and her husband have a joint practice.. She is a dentist and on the other side of the building is her husband and he is an orthodontist. She is so good!!

Dr Jeff Lonier.......Okemos and Williamston............been with him for 25 years, kids, grandkids.......gentle, state of the art office!!!

Valley Dental Spa is outstanding in okemos. You get massages while you get your teeth cleaned!

Jamie at Parkway dental is great! My girls are 4, 5 and 9 and lovr to see Jamie and Dr. Kelly Johnson. This is a great practice!

Amber@Dr Ferguson in Okemos. I've been going to doc for 20 years, no other place I even wanted to bring Maddie. Not a "pediatric" dentist but she does great things to make the kids comfortable.

Dr Susan maples in holt. They have a wonderful practice and a kids learning lab and take extra time to talk with and educate kids.

Shannon is my favorite hygienist at Dr Craig Spencer's office. The whole office is wonderful and won't push you to buy things that aren't needed.

Okemos Family Dentistry. Super friendly, very good hygienists and Dr. Cook is a very good dentist. Dental hygiene feels collaborative and positive.

I've been going to Dyras Dental for a couple of years now on a recommendation from a co-worker, it's been great. The hygienist I see is named Christa, she is amazing.

Dr. DeYoung. She's great and so is the staff and office. Top notch work, reasonable cost, and very nice. You'll be glad you went.

On Lansing's west side is Hagerty Dental[http://www.hagertydentistry.com/]. I switched toHagerty when I moved to Lansing and I like them a lot. The staff is really nice, and the place is set up like a spa. They offer neck warming towels, paraffin hand massages, and some other fancy stuff. But aside from that, they seem to do good work. I'm not sure if they'll take your insurance, but you could always call them if that's the dentist you're interested in.

I've been going to Dr. Ed Troshak in Grand Ledge for 15 years. He's a very good dentist and tries to stay on the cutting edge with his tech.

You're getting a lot of options here, I'm going to also recommend something new: Doctor Susan Maples. Based in Holt, so about a 15 minute drive from downtown. Their staff has always been fantastic and if you go during the right times that have someone on staff to give you a hand or foot massage to distract you from any work that's being done.
