So i got a battery and some wiper blades at Auto Zone and an oil change and quote from Aamco and I'm gonna need an alternator and new belts. That's gonna be around $400. Also my check engine light is on - they want $145 to do the diagnostics and hopefully fix it along the way. This is a necessary evil though, as I can't pass emissions with the check engine light on. Will be going back there on Monday to get the work done. *sigh*

My life is jsut getting more and more awesome. Apparently someone has stolen my card # and tried to buy a phone at Sears. I'm glad they called me. Of course can't get a real Customer Service person til Monday morning. So I'm SOL. No cash, only credit, and lord knows what the hell is gonna hit my account.

No not a code pull - they pulled the code - they need to figure out if it is the Transmission or not, I guess like exploratory surgery. 99 Camry V6. The exact line item is: Labor - Diagnostics Level 1 CODE 773 SSE Fault And the $145 is all labor.
