Along with keeping the hair clean, proper moisturizing and proper detangling. I find ,for me, making sure I'm mindful of my stress levels help with the rate of my hair loss. When I'm even a little over the normal daily stressors it shows up in my hair and skin instantly. It's the things we(I) already know but find it hard to focus on consistently that can make all the difference with our hair. Before you go looking for the next new topical remedy start internally. Poor circulation and stress kills your hair and skin. Proper nutrition and finding ways to naturally stimulate the blood flow to the scalp and increased overall circulation are proven to promote a healthy scalp, hair growth and decrease hair loss. @Pookie you doing too much ditch shampoo cowash,It's more about not breaking hair then putting stuff on your head,(what you doing is fine but the most damage I see on heads is folks not detangling right and folks overdoing hair).Make sure you only detangle once a week stop combing hair dry, comb wet under shower with a lot of conditioner use LOC method and leave hair alone til nest cowash repeat. http://youtu.be/kqAAddBFf1 g

You can purchase it at a health foods store or either order it online http://m.iherb.com/Eidon-Mineral-Supplements-Silica-Liquid-Concentrate-2-oz-60-ml/26014?utm_medium=cse&utm_source=pricegrabber here's a link to one, and the Monistat will be good to use since your not able to go yet, if it is a fungal problem it will help get rid of anything there, and help your hair grow still.

My dermatologist recently closed. Does anyone have recommendations that are good with severe dry skin and eczema patients? TIA!
Aren L. replied:
I go to Jessica Macwilliams at riverbend medical group in agawam! I️m not sure how she is with eczema/dry skin, but there are multiple doctors in that branch as well! Everyone that works there has been super nice and welcoming and understanding I highly recommend looking into it there!

http://dermatologistlist.us/CT/enfield/darlene-m-haviland-pac/ Darlene Haviland helped my pilonidal cyst wound heal after MANY years of weekly visits to Baystate’s wound clinic. I laughed at the idea of a dermatologist succeeding where multiple surgeons had failed. She is phenomenal, and I would highly recommend her for any sort of dermatological problem.

I go to CT River Valley Dermatology (now Integrated Dermarology of Enfield) for regular visits. However, they could not see me for an urgent matter called in by my primary care physician. The earliest appointment was 3 months out. My doc wound up calling Farmington Valley Dermatology in Avon and they saw me the same day! I saw Physician's Assistant Michael Lund. He was fantastic! Bit of a drive but well worth it!
Looking for a great dermatologist in town. Anyone have any suggestions? Thank you so much!

Can't recommend Integrated Dermatology enough. Melanie insisted my son have his mole removed right away and arranged a consultation with the pediatric surgeon herself, and we saw him two days later. He scheduled surgery for a week later, and we soon had biopsy results -- it wasn't melanoma yet, but it was headed in that direction! So thankful for her!
