Its a series of tests a person takes to prove Mechanical aptitude. I am also ASE Master Certified as well as L1 Advanced Certified but in all honesty it really doesn't make much different, I have known many techs that are Certified and I would not trust to work on a weed wacker.

Hoshi Motors in Boulder specializes in Honda, Toyota and Subarus. Started by Laurie who trained through the Honda mechanics training school, she was sick of dealership antics and struck out on her own to deliver excellence and trust. I've known folks who have patronized Hoshi motors for over 20 years (with the same car and with newer models). You can't go wrong.
