Mike McGill is the town arborist, and like Pam said, he will inspect your trees free of charge. I had him come look at ours a few months ago. He said that emerald ash borer has not been identified in Erie, but most of the ash trees do have lilac ash borer. He said he does not treat the town trees for lilac ash borer because they are really not a threat to the tree. http://www.erieco.gov/1375/Town-Arborist-Services
