Formby Hall Golf Club has a very good restaurant, with some fish dishes on the menu. To my knowledge, Formby doesn't have a dedicated fish restaurant.

The Pinewoods pub usually has a fish dish on the specials board, as well as terrific fish and chips on the main menu, Left Bank does fantastic salmon. For a wider choice you'll have to go to The Forge or Lansdowne in Southport.

St Luke's church now has a tea room with toilets and that's not far from the beach but it would be lovely to have something on the beach itself xx

Tracey, perhaps you could look up the history of the previous cafe at Formby Library or contact formbycivicsociety.org for reasons why the previous cafe failed. It is a lovey idea and I am not discounting it but with present day H & S rules I doubt anyone would get permission, fire regs, etc would all have to be passed too.
