I know we all love Dean Simmons and I know he can get very busy. We just had a handyman here working on our kitchen who I would highly recommend. I don't know his schedule but if Dean isn't available, I'd trust him. I saw his work first hand and he was great. His name is Gordon Vanderheyden and his number is 928-420-1820. I know he used to be a licensed plumber too, but he let his license lapse. I will definitely keep Gordon in mind for future jobs, as well as Dean. BTW--he removed my slate tile counters...neatly, didn't damage the existing cabinets, CLEANED UP HIS MESS, also helped install the new cabinets.

I used Fort Collins heating and Air for the annual furnace check. If youcall the gas company (Xcel?) they will check and re-light the fireplace for free, but verify that if you call. There are 800 sprinkler blow out guys. Last year I used Advanced Landscaping but I also have Kersch from Fort Collins landscaping working for us right now. He's a good guy. We also found a paper by our system saying/explaining how to drain it to prevent freezing. We might try it this year, when we were in the Springs I was told if it was installed properly you should not need to blow it out, just drain it... I plan to ask Kersh and do some research.

I second Fort Collins Heating and Air. Regular maintenance on your furnace and AC is a good idea, and they are very good -- and NEVER try to upsell you anything you don't need. We don't have sprinklers...
