Hot water extraction is the cleaning method carpet manufacturers prefer people to use. If you had yours cleaned that way in the past & they didn't look much different, most likely it was the company not the cleaning method. Many the doctors in Gallatin and Hendersonville were trained at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital. I know that is not a guarantee of good service, but I worked with many of them so I have seen both sides. I worked with Dr. Murray, Dr. Rundus, Dr. Kastner and Dr Riley at Gallatin Children's Clinic. They are all awesome and have great working knowledge as well as good communicators.

When or if you decide to seek a neurologist, Dr. Megan Mason and her staff at Sumner Regional have been wonderful for me. She's worked with me to have other "go-to" management techniques. Yoga, diet, medical massage. Drugs as a last resort. I wouldn't wish migraines on my worst enemy... Best of luck for your daughter!

You will want to try a chiropractor before the neurologist. Neurologist will put you on meds, and they may work - but they're expensive and if you miss a dose, you're screwed. The side effects and potential implications are steep too. Regular chiropractic care is key. I've done both routes (sorry, I haven't been treated for migraine locally so I don't have a recommendation) but Music City Chiropractic is phenomenal. Our whole family goes regularly and we have less allergies, headaches (of all kinds), and ear problems with the kids. I hope you feel better soon!

I have severe chronic migraines that are debilitating. I've tried every thing with no results of relief longer than a week. I highly recommend Dr. H. Cruz with Indian Lake Neurology. He has tried more without me being totally drugged out. And sent me to a Neuroscientist which identified the exact types of migraines I have, that does make a difference. Good luck to her, chronic migraines are not the typical migraine or headache.

I don't have a recommendation specifically for a doctor, however, you'll want to see a neurologist or rheumatologist that believes physical therapy is a big part of the treatment. Vanderbilt Neurology Department is phenomenal.

He's kind, compassionate, understanding, and doesn't make you feel like you're asking dumb questions. He's even called me personally with test results and gave me a private room to nurse my newborn. He spends all the time you need answering questions. He's the best!

Dr. Huitink at Gallatin Children's Clinic is phenomenal! My 4 year old has been seeing him since we left TN Pediatrics a few years ago and we followed him when he left Goodlettsville Peds to go to Gallatin Children's Clinic in January. I really can't recommend him enough. The one thing that I noticed with him is that he is incredibly thorough. Other Drs would be in and out in less than a minute but he spends time really looking for the problem and making sure the parents don't have any questions or concerns. I'm due with our second baby in the next couple of weeks and we will absolutely be using him for our son as well!
