There are so many great chiropractors and massage therapists in town. After getting your recommendations make sure you keep trying until you find one (or more) that is right for you. Our family uses three different chiropractors for different things. I won't actually recommend one over any other but if you have had issues with chiropractic you might want to try someone like Dr. Tammy Karp who uses a very different technique. www.drtammykarp.com.

I love Tammy Karp for her different and gentle approach. Her technique has gotten me the best results in the quickest time frame. For massage I like Melissa Middleton (Awakenings) and her integration of energy work and Erik Winkelmann has a gentle style that gets deep tissue results and is the best for my neck issues.

A friend uses Dr. Ken Roberts in the old Larry's Foodland strip mall. He is very happy with him. There is one dentist in town that I would never recommend and others have given me negative feedback about the office doing unnecessary dental work.

I can't say enough about Kenneth Roberts DDS. He is so down-to-earth, easy to communicate with and will do his best to take care of any problem you have. If you have an emergent situation his office staff will do their best to get you in as quickly as possible. Dr. Roberts fees are extremely fair regardless of whether you have insurance or not.

I recommend South Lyon Dental Care on Pontiac Trail between Eight and Nine Mile. I have gone there for years and have been very happy with their work. I have had many crowns over the years and my husband recently had a new bridge. Very satisfied.
