Can anyone recommend a pediatric dentist in the Raleigh area that is good with young kids on the spectrum? My little man has never been and I am quite nervous about...

Dr Dave at wake pediatric dentistry in garner.
Stephanie T. replied:
We go to http://www.bluewaterpediatricdentistry.com/ They have been very good to both my kids. My daughter has high dentist anxiety and my son has high functioning Autism.
Maria B. replied:
We drive all the way to Durham for Dr. Keels at Duke Pediatric Dentistry. She has tv screens on the ceiling playing Disney movies to help distract the children, it has worked for my son.
Maria H. replied:
I was really scared ay Jack's first dentist trip, and it went pretty well. That was Dr Moran and Brooks in Cary, and they do all their special needs appointments first thing. The kids also have a private room rather than in an open area. I hope you are doing well!
Heather M. replied:
I totally see that you asked about Raleigh, but Dr. Brooks in Cary is spectacular! He has done so much for Aidan. It's worth the drive from Smithfield for us. Here's their link: https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j...
Jani R. replied:
Wake Pediatric Dentistry. My son (on the spectrum) sees Dr. Pretzer. The whole staff is amazing with him,
Shanna C. replied:
Dr. Hollowell and Dr. Porter at Triangle Pediatric Dentistry. They are amazing. Tell the receptionist your situation. They've been fantastic to our family.
Heather M. replied:
Aidan literally ran through the office screaming, didn't bother Dr. Brooks at all. Somehow he got Aidan in the chair and did an extraction. First time ever Aidan didnt need IV sedation! He sees us for emergencies, same day even! If i mention the dentist, Aidan screams in terror, but not if I mention Dr. Brooks. First place, I didn't NEED to apologize for Aidan's difficulties.
