It's pretty thoroughly established that the largest benefit of acupuncture comes from placebo effect and there isn't any real scientific basis for the treatment, I'd divert you time and money elsewhere. Diet is really important for headache/migraine sufferers. I would recommend seeing a Chiropractor for your chiropractic needs and a Licensed Acupuncturist for those needs. It's best to seek specialists in their own areas for the best and most effective treatment and healing. Speaking on behalf of the Acupuncture side, my degree included over 3300 hours or course work and clinic. A Chiropractor in Illinois is only required to have 100 hours.
