Dr Paul Katz office #525-3086 PennMark building Poplar and Massey. Easy to get apts. very through. I've never waited more than 10-15 min to see him. He is the type that will call his pts back to the room if his nurse is busy. I'm rating that whole practice a 10.

I don't disagree with the recommendations, just wanted to point out the Germantown issue and while I'm at it, Southwind medical also isn't in Germantown But at least one of the southwind doctors, Dr. Paul Dang, has moved to Memphis Internal Medicine which is in Germantown (wolf river at Riverdale), and he is fantastic!

Three generations of our family see or have seen Dr. Avila. That's the ultimate recommendation.

That is strange Cathy I don't have one either!! 50 years old sitting in Urgent Care with broken ribs and no Primary Care Physician!!!

I know I saw the same pediatrician my brothers did until we moved to AR Then the same Dr. Until he died!!! My kids used the same pediatrician! Just haven't found one I trust since Dr Young died!

Cathy go to see Michelle Smothers at Germantown Minor Med behind Arbys there in G'town. She is wonderful no appointments needed but ask to see her. If she can't help she will send you to somebody really good. She's my PCP. I love her!!!!

Hey Cathy, I hope you found a Dr. But most of all I hope you feel better!! You have been on my mind ever since you posted this. Just some more info Dr. Smothers at Germantown Minor Med they are open on Saturday and Sundays and open until 8:00 pm. Michelle Smothers isn't there all those times but they will help and everybody there is nice. So if you need some one on weekends or at night you can go there and get help anytime.

Cathy, I've had the most amazing doctor for over ten years - who cares for my mom & her husband, too - E. Arthur Franklin - he's incredibly smart, so very nice, & uses common sense, too. He also has a great nurse practitioner to back him up. You can always get in same day when you need to! I hope and pray you're okay! Dr. Franklin can help you with ANYTHING - no matter how complex. Good luck!!!

I've used Dr Hurley off west street. Have no complaints directly with her. She can be difficult to get into and get her staff to send in paperwork and such if you something (ie a prior authorization sent in on a med to insurance...).

He's not a female, but Dr. Preston Givens is great. He's a little difficult to see for regular check-ups (but those are planned anyway). If you are sick, you get in easily. I don't have to wait long in the waiting room ever. He has a wonderful manner with patients. He also knows his stuff!

I have had great experiences at Foundation Medical Group with Dr. Porter and Crafton. You might just want to ask for a good primary care physician and not bash other Dr.'s in your question. It is just not kind. We can all have a bad experience with a Dr. or other business at times. Doesn't mean at other times, someone else might not have great experiences. Maybe some Dr.'s want to limit the number of patients they take so they can provide better services. I have found them to be very good listeners and not quick to just write scripts and get me out the door.

Mark Vlasak is in Collierville as you first enter Collierville beside first Tennessee Bank. He and his staff are beyond awesome!!! Couldn't make it through life without them!!

We use Shaun Hayden. His office is near Methodist University but we've never waited past 20 minutes and every year our physical includes blood work, urinalysis, chest X-ray and EKG. He's very thorough.
