I see Dr. Donna-Marie Christie at CMG in Granby Center--brick building across the street from Geissler's. I have been with her since July 2007. Never a problem to get in to see her; she listens to me; isn't one to over-prescribe. I haven't been with one primary care dr for this many years straight since I was growing up.

I can't say enough about Dr. Howlett with East Granby Family Practice. We were hesitant about sending our 26 weeker preemie to him because of our sons extensive hospital stay but he is INCREDIBLE! I knew he was the "one" when I called concerned about a cough. He was on his way out of the office for a big meeting when he got the call from us, but waited up for us to come. All dressed up in a tux he saw our son (who then proceeded to spit up all over him). That showed me how devoted he is to his patients. It turned out to be nothing, but he was there when we needed him:) We also moved our now 3 year old there from another practice when he was 1, and have never looked back!

He has a partner Dr Chaput. By the time she joined the practice my daughter was old enough to go in by herself so from less interaction she was nice.

I never had an issues with the care my children received. But back then the wait times were extremely long, even for appointments that had been scheduled far in advance. Not sure if that still occurs

Not sure HOW far you are willing to travel? I am from Northampton,MA and I continue to see my neurologist there. His name is Dr. O'Connell. He is on State St. I have been seeing his for at least 10-15 years. My migraines are very severe. I recently started Botox treatment for mine, and have found after 3 rounds of injections-that they are getting MUCH better and I am starting to wean off my daily meds!!

Love UCONN health center and they now have a satellite location in Simsbury right on Hopmeadow St. My GP is there:Jillian Sullivan, APRN and she's great. They will send you to the Farmington location to specialists if needed, or to the new building in Avon.

EGFP - Dr. Pursnani is also very good - she takes the time to listen and doesn't jump into anything quickly just to move onto the next patient....

I went to one of the best neurologists in the country for my migraines and he got me to the point where they were kind of manageable. Then I met Dr Megan Hudson. She is a chiropractic neurologist and she stopped my migraines entirely! I went from 10-17 a month down to none in two years. You can reach her at (413) 695-2766.
