Old Doc Paterson has retired but His son is carrying on the business. They are the most reasonable clinic in the area and excellent care. When we moved up to the Carson City area I still drove to Mason to take my animals there. I think old Doc still lives on the property in his new home but he was really getting up there in age. He cried when he finally had to give up and retire. It was his calling in life and he was the very best. http://lansingvets.com/

I took my new kitten to Hartel Vet Hospital after adopting him. The ladies there were extremely nice, knowledgeable and made my visit very pleasant. They didn’t stress out my kitten (more than he already was from the drive.). I’ll be a life long customer of Hartel’s.

Sparrow Urgent Care is great. If you don't mind going a little further, 98.6 Emergicenter on Lake Lansing Rd is awesome. They have diagnostic equipment there such as CT scan etc. so depends what you need I guess.
