That's just what I was about to suggest Chris Rousseau. I'm having the same issue with my Catalina 27 (which is for sale!) and am about to start digging into the heat exchanger. Christopher Coats - my go to guy for this kind of stuff is Perry Clark. I'll PM you his number. He's at Scott's and is intimately familiar with diesel engines.
