Pediatricians in Great Neck, NY

Drs.Scaletar and Schusheim were my pediatricians... And I was born in 1963...Dr.Horowitz was the new guy then!!!

Dr. Grace Nunez at Bayside Pediatrics is fantastic. She's the one we've been seeing for years. We love her! We see Dr. Oster once in a blue moon if we have to in a pinch. She's good too.

Dr Stefano Amodio. I am very comfortable with his mannerism and his ease and how he communicates with my kids who are now adolescents. He wasn't our first, we left Bayside Pediatrics, when my oldest was about 6 months old. She is now olde enough not to see a Ped, lol, but my other children still do. SO we then used another Dr we were very comfy with until he retired...then found Dr. Amodio. 2516 169 th St Flushing, NY 11358

Dr. Theodora Panteloglou! She's amazing single dr practice. even though I'm not in bayside right now we keep in touch and I've even called her in an emergency when I wanted another opinion.

Children's Medical Group on corporal Kennedy and 26 th Ave is where I have been taking my kids for the past 7 years and I love all the doctors.

We go to Children's Medical Group in Bayside. My daughter just turned 1. I like all of the doctors. I delivered in Northshore and they came to the hospital each morning to check on the baby, They are very nice and I can always get in last minute if I a m concerned about anything. I will say the front desk can be difficult, but the doctors and nurses are very nice and have been great with the baby. I like Kahan, Cohen and Fell the best. Kahan has harsh reviews online and I was worried, but he is great with our daughter and really patient with me, a worried new mommy. Congrats and best of luck to you!

Now for a different opinion. I vetted drs when I was pregnant in bayside & great neck. Bayside dr's the worst. I saw some old dr in children's med group on corporal kenn & did nothing but complain about not being reimbursed enough by insurance. Loved g reat neck group but felt I should stay local. When I had my daughter I went to Bayside pediatrics feeling local was best. Told me to alternate different formulas for feeding. So like a factory. Should gave followed by gut from the start. Great neck group was far superior & not that big a deal to get to. Well worth for quality care. Good luck!

My son is 24 years of age and I have used Bayside Pediatrics since he was 1 years old and even have used them for my daughter; Dr. Hororwitz is THE BEST; awesome in handling both my kids Asthma; they are open 7 days a week and have an emergency number 24 hrs. I can personally tell you that about 4 years ago my son was having serious asthma issues at 3 am and I called the emergency number, the Dr on call called me back, walked me through his present symptoms, spoke with Dr. Horowitz and called in a few prescripts to CVS, by 3:30 am, my son was able to breath and sleep comfortably, and that is because Dr. Horowitz personally knew my son's Asthma history/conditions; if I brought my kid(s) to the office because of their asthma; even if the waiting room was full, the front desk would tell Dr. Horowitz or the other Dr there of us arriving and he/they would personally came out and bring my kid(s) to the back and started a full regime of treatment; that is the type of office/Drs in that office

You should definitely have a pediatric. But For those times that your child is sick there is no place better then PC Pediatrics.you are in and out in half hour.

I use Children's Medical group. They have an office in Plainview - which I use and Bayside. Dr. Hogan is my favorite because he is so thorough but all of them are wonderful! And after hours, they have a service that you can go to their office until midnight and it is the same as going to their office.

Bayside Pediatrics is fantastic! Love all the doctors there. Had my baby, they were there at the hospital every day and checked us out. They have been our pediatricians for years. Very happy with them!!! Plus they is a doctor on call all night long and they're there for you seven days a week!!! Judy is my favorite in the front desk and does an amazing Donald duck impersonation!!! Love them!!!

i have used PM pediatrics for my teenage daughter and will NEVER EVER step.foot in there again. the so-called doctor was a total idiot/moron and walked out there without him properly diagnosing my daughter, the next day went to bayside pediatrics and like we thought, she had not been properly diagnosed and not given prescripts as she had to a upper respiratory infection/bronchitis etc. I told PM about the diagnosis and they tried to say it must have turned into that - yeah from 'cold/allergies' overnight, 12 hrs later, i think not

I panicked one summer evening when my daughters mosquito bite looked red & possibly infected. Brought her to PM Pediatrics.they misdiagnosed my daughter as having an infection & Put her on an antibiotic. Next day brought her to my regular dr, which I s hould have waited the extra day to do so & they said there was no infection & told her not to take the antibiotic. I don't think places like pm pads are necessarily quacks but some err on the side of caution & prescribe medicine to cover themselves. They are really a last resort to go to.

I went to Bayside Pediatrics as a kid in the 80's and saw all three - Horowitz, Scalettar and Schussheim. Dr. Scalettar used to steal my Matchbox cars and he wouldn't give them back. Anyone remember the giant Q-tip for throat cultures? lol Dr. Scalettar is on Facebook.

Tania, when I had my children and loved in Queens I took them to Bayside Pediatrics (by Bay Terrace) for my kids. All of the doctors are great, but Dr. Oster was my favorite! I also know people who loved Dr. Vaccaro in Whitestone. Good Luck! Xo
