We go to Montclair Vet and try to see Dr. Richter, Dr. Granzow or Dr. Lynn. They offer traditional care in Montclair and holistic care in Piedmont, I think.

For good care & inexpensive I'd go with San Lorenzo Vet by jack in the box. Though just about all these hospitals are good. I'll also add companion animal hospital in cv. They see all types of pets! Price wise I think a lot of hospitals are pretty comparable now a days but I have heard San Lorenzo vet is the cheapest with exceptional quality of care for their pricing.

Chabot Veterinary Clinic on Foothill Blvd near Mattox Rd. All 3 Vets have worked on my pets, and they are excellent doctors, and the prices are very fair. Check out the reviews on Yelp, I'm not the only one that feels that way about them.

I always took my pets to Chabot Vet also. Started going there when my daughter was 3. She's now 34. They've always been very caring and reasonable. I really miss them since I've moved out of the Bay Area.
