The website that you can check to see if they are qualified is British Association of Equine Dental Technicians. All quallified dentists MUST be registered with them. In other words, if they are not on the list they are not registered. Please check before you book one, too many people claim to be qualified when they are not.

Ive had similar problems in the past but since finding out about the BAED, I have since learned that previous dentists I have used are not actually qualified. I use Justin Pugh now and have had to use another qualified dentist when I couldnt get an appointment, the other dentist actually commented on the really lovely work that Justin had done 12 months previously. I would highly recommend Justin Pugh.

A good place is Vaughan Dental in Harpenden 01582 561000 I was in so much pain when I went to my own dentist collapsed in the waiting room and got carted off to hospital. They then sent me to Harpenden to get sorted

I've had excellent service from Boxmoor House dental surgery (01442 253253) and have complete confidence in them. However it is private but dental treatment is, in my opinion, worth spending money on.

Smile Grovehill don't like doing NHS work. Perhaps the new dentist will do root canal on NHS. Certainly it should be covered in the Banding.
