It's my one true fear too! I always try to do sedation dentistry! I love it! They put me to sleep and I wake up and have no idea I've ever had anything done! It would be a drive for you but I go in prestonsburg at Bryan Griffiths office! You pass it goin to Stonecrest after you turn off on rt80!

Kim my Austin hates the Dentist he had always been put to sleep to have cleaning or anything done to his teeth and we changed Dentists to Dr Jim Kennedy at Kennedy Dental at South Ridge and Austin does great there he loves him but ask for Jim... Lol and Brandon and I both hate the dentist and that's where Brandon went a few months ago and had one pulled and didn't even feel him pull it he said that was the best one he had ever been too

Whenever you do go, ask for Nitrous (laughing gas). I promise it's all you'll need. No nerve pill, etc. will be necessary. I never have anything done without it. I'm am a wuss anyway, but the Nitrous will take all of your nerves away. Ask when you make the appointment and make sure they know you want it. Sometimes they have to allot a little extra time for it to kick in or only have it hooked up in certain rooms. I hate the dentist too, but I LOOOOOVE Dr. Howell in Madison. The only problem with him is he stays booked months in advance! But, it'd be worth a shot to call. 369-2034

I go to Dr. Senator in Madison. If he has to give you a shot to numb everything he'll actually numb that spot with this q-tip thingie first so you don't feel the shot. I've never had any problems with him.

I know it's a bit of a drive, but Dr. Lee Boyd is our pediatric dentist/ortho. He is right outside of Prestonsburg. He and his staff are awesome, and his office is very kid centered. He has a website: drleeboyd.com. He has done both of my daughters' braces and dental work for years. His office is about 50 minutes drive from Warfield.
