Catamount is a 16.1 hh 13 year old bay thoroughbred gelding. "Lynx" has shown successfully in Canada and the USA. He has shown both hunters and jumpers and also did some eventing. PROUDLY OFFERED FOR SALE: Mischief Managed aka Ginny is a 9 year old 15 hand welsh/TB cross mare. Ginny is extremely flashy with a large crescent star on her forehead and four white socks. Not only is she super cute, but she is an extremely talented jumper, one of the best I have sat on. She is consistently going at 1.05 m with room to spare, I have no doubts that she would go very far with the right rider. Ginny is very agile, gets all of her distances, has great turns, and a ground covering stride. She does not refuse, is a careful jumper, and is the same horse on and off property. Ginny handles big venues and atmosphere very well! She knows her job and will always get it done! With that being said, Ginny requires a rider that will let her do her job and not mess with her striding or pull in her face before jumps. She is quick but controllable and has never done anything naughty, she locks onto jumps and goes. Ginny is best suited for at least an intermediate level rider, though she is talented enough to be a professional’s ride. She is a forward ride and sensitive to aids. Ginny has done beginner novice and novice level eventing, and has been very successful doing jumpers from 0.85m-1.05m with potential for much more. No buck/rear/bolt/kick/bite etc. She loves to hack, play in the water, and of course jump! Super easy to be around in the barn, Ginny has no vices- she is a total angel! I am very comfortable allowing small children to bring her in, go in her stall, groom, tack up, etc, she is very gentle and doesn’t have a mean bone in her body. Not mare-ish at all and goes out perfectly with mares or geldings. She is an extremely easy keeper and is barefoot. I think Ginny would be an excellent mother and have adorable babies further down the line. Ginny will only be sold to a 5* home that will treat her like a princess. If we could afford to keep two horses, Ginny would never leave but sadly she and my sister have different aspirations. I can’t put into words how amazing this mare is. She will try her heart out for you, and will get you out of sticky situations. Overall she is just an amazing horse to have at the barn, and anyone would be lucky to have her.
