Dr. Montefalco yanked what was left when my crown broke off (Lucky for me it was no longer a "live tooth"). I can't complain, though, it went just fine, no problems afterwards. Definite recommend.

Some offices have a thing called Care Credit. It's a credit card pretty much and you make payments. Dr. Fonner, and Dr. Swanson in Effingham both do wisdom teeth from what I understand. Not sure If they offer care credit however.

All 4 of mine were impacted, so they had to cut down into the bone to get them out. Afterwards I had "dry sockets" which made it feel as if someone was driving nails into each one... Very painful. Dr. Trigg did my surgery and he wasn't very sympathetic when I came back in pain, his colleague took one look in my mouth and apologized. Not sure if he botched it, but I don't recommend him.

He's in Bloomington, but Dr Sutor is the best I've ever been to. He removed mine and was so caring. He even called the night after to see how I was feeling or if I had any questions. He'd be worth the hour drive for you
