You will have that issue around here with all the new houses being built. General contractor and contractor are not synonymous. For example you hire a general contractor to build your house, hire subcontractors and keep the job moving. Not trying to pick on you, but want to make sure you are using general contractor in your searches. They are only for complex jobs. With a job that small, I would recommend a handyman. A drywall contractor is likely going to fix the drywall and usually apply texture, but you would need someone separate to paint, and will probably run into the same problem with a painter. Source: I’m a property adjuster and work with these guys all the time.

Chelsea Megan Smith we have 2 metal walk through baby gates that can connect by tension and then attach to the wall for extra stability. We bought them for my sister's house to block parts from her dog, but they ended up never using them because they didn't want to anchor them to the wall. One is still brand new in the box, the other was only taken out in order to give it a try. We'd like to get what we paid for them -- $50 each, but would be open to offers
