I did not feel comfortable with any of the surgeons here so I went to Germany. All the surgeons I spoke to in the States wanted to fuse the disc. Which I did not want. I opted for artificial disc replacement. Here in the states it would have cost me $85000 or more for a single disc replacement. In Germany it was $32000 for the replacement of 2 cervical disc. That cost included a 6 day stay for me and my sister in a private room all meals for both of us and after care hotel accommodations. The surgeons name is Dr Rudolph Bertangnoli. http://www.pro-spine.de There was a man there from Atlanta Georgia that had 4 lumbar disc replaced and was up walking and climbing stairs the next day.
