I asked the manager at Corwin who manufactured the screens in the Civic and she told me she had no way of finding that information out. Not impressed with the information the dealer provided. Want to know for myself. I love the new feature on Kbb.com that shows what cars in your area are selling for and the best prices.

No offense, but I question this story. I don't think I have ever been to a respectable used car lot that had cars without the standard used car sticker in the window, especially at a place like Machens. You don't get to be respected places like Machens, Corwin, Riley, etc., by doing shady stuff you'd find at Bob's A-1 Discount Buy Here Pay Here Autos...

To answer your question from my experience, Corwin was great for us. I do feel it is more about the salesman than the dealership itself. There are good and bad at all dealerships. That being said I personally recommend Nathan Hays ... zero pressure with good product knowledge and the patience of Job. No experience with Lease/Rent to own, however.

I always bought from Ford here in Jefferson City as it went through the name changes but this last year since they have become Machen's didn't want to work with me. I for the first time ever went to the dark side and looked at Hyaundai's and Nissan's. Corwin bent over backwards to work with me and my time schedule. My salesman isn't there now but Nathan Hays has been more than helpful in letting me know the best time to trade my car in for a step up and how to get the best bang for my buck. smile emoticon My salesman was Robert Miller and he is at Capital City Chrysler now. Very nice and not pushy just like Nathan.
